I love the idea of a gratitude journal. The other day a work mate said he’d never seen anyone get so excited over a box of haddock (i work in a fish shop – lol). It got me thinking, if the only pleasures that we experience/remember are the big events – the holiday, the birthday etc. We have maybe 5 or 6 ‘big’ memories a year if we’re lucky. Taking time out to really enjoy a cup of coffee like you say Alisa, or to listen to a bird singing. Those small moments, they add up. I guess that’s being mindful?
