Oh Chris, my heart truly goes out to you but I know that does little for your situation. I’m not a vet but I do think it’s absolutely atrocious that we can spend the money to send you and others like you to often fight battles that aren’t even our own, but we don’t have the funds to care for you when you return. I thank you for your service, but who knows what that means to you right now.
I will tell you this, your life is worth as much as the richest man, the most respected man, the holiest man and the most learned man. I suffered from PTSD and severe depression for most of my life and made several suicide attempts. But I lived. I’m here now and I hope you see this. Please hang on. Peace and love.
