Description
WRAP Seminar I is for anyone in the world who is interested in wellness, recovery, and creating their own evidence-based Wellness Recovery Action Plan (WRAP). On March 17 & 18, 2025 – from 9 AM to 5 PM, in person, participants learn how to develop personal life and wellness goals as they engage in a mutual learning model with other peers. WRAP Seminar I introduces participants to the Values and Ethics of WRAP and the five Key Concepts; guides them in creating a personal WRAP; and, for those who are interested, starts them on the path to becoming a certified WRAP Facilitator.
WRAP Seminar II Facilitator Training for this host site is scheduled for March 19, 20, and 21, 2025 – from 9 AM TO 5 PM, immediately following Seminar I. This class is available if you have completed WRAP Seminar I. This 3-day in-person seminar gives participants the skills, knowledge, and materials to facilitate WRAP Seminar I in their community and organization. Participants will engage in interactive learning activities, give brief presentations with a partner and individually, learn how to facilitate the structure of WRAP, illustrate their personal experience with WRAP, and show an understanding of WRAP ethics and values. Participants who complete the training will become Certified WRAP Facilitators and be able to lead WRAP Seminar I.
